Has anyone purchased from Amazon Japan? Good or bad experiences?
I'm seriously thinking of pre-ordering it but want an idea how much shipping is and if there are any other fees that a first time buyer may not be aware of.

Amazon Jp are fine as long as you select gift wrapping. You can select it at the checkout, for a little extra they will package the item better. Shipping costs are cheaper than what they used to be but they are still fairly expensive. It's usually better to try and order more than one item to make it cheaper. You pay customs fees up front now so there won't be any hidden charges. One last thing to note is you will have to create a new account even if you already have one at Amazon. Whilst your existing account will work at all the other Amazon sites you will need a new one when you use Amazon Jp!
I'm so close to ordering this but I'm too concerned how much it will cost. I wouldn't want to pay anything over $45. I'm hoping that another country such as the UK will get it as well but it looks doubtful.

I went ahead and PO'd it. The artwork is excellent and I collect anything from the Dark Knight film.
Mines arrived today, really quickly from Japan
No customs
Changed the back out, inside and outside art is all the joker
Very nice edition
Also if anyone from the UK is on the fence about ordering, it cost only £21.95. That's with shipping and customs paid beforehand
