Here's the early artwork for the HMV steelbook, should be up online over the weekend to look at and available to pre-order in a while after that, no price or link yet though I'm afraid.
Same artwork as other regions and likely to have a j-card with no printing on the steel.

to put things in perspective for those who live in the UK .... TDKR HMV was 50k

yeah I didn't mind ordering back when they had their act together but not so much anymore,I suppose if it was a really nice exclusive I would have to but ones like this that amazon de are selling its probably better getting it from there at least u know the packaging is good.

I'm not sure whether you missed it or if you're just being ignorant but HMV's QC standards have gone way down hill in the past 4-5 months. We are seeing more steelbooks turning up damaged than ever before.

O/T: I hope they ditch the blue banner, if they don't i'll probably just get the FS version. It will complete the trilogy very nicely i suspect.

^^^ oh k. Well I thought they had started using those cardboard boxes again after they moved there wharehouse. I suppose not. Well I have been getting whacko shipping times from them since way back as far as I can remember so I guess nothing's changed there.

There QC standards were always low as far back I can remember. Granted my first steelbook I ordered from them I think was sometime January 2011. From my first order then until now I have gotten the same weird shipping times varying from 5 days to a month, lol, and the same crappy thin cardboard box. So to me they haven't changed any really... but if it makes you feel better we can agree to call me ignorant

Shipping times to the Philippines were just crazy. Ranging from just over a week to over 4 months. It was a lottery. Now I'm back in London I will simply go in store and pick my copies up in person, although my nearest branches now are in Heathrow Airport itself.

After the Avengers debacle I will get the Steelbook from Amazon Germany. However that cowl boxset looks great, so I might end up getting that and not bothering to get a Steelbook at all

They don't always suck! Some of my favourite Steels have the banner, IB FS is one! I do agree though on this it needs to be clean and banner free!

They don't add anything to a steelbook whatsoever, all steelbooks look better without them! I agree about IB FS but that wasn't ruined purely because everything else about it was beautiful! If you take away the Blu banner you have the perfect steelbook.
