Good news!! I already own this beauty but I am happy for those who have missed it, now it's their chance to have an awesome edition.

I hope it's true, I think everyone deserves to get this for a reasonable price not that rip off on ebay.

I wouldn;t call this set a beauty as the finishing of the Steels is very poor but you few get good things:

1. No manufacturing dent on Batman Begins
2. TDK SB with clean artwork - don't ever compare it with the FS steelbook which has a premium finish.
3. Doesn't miss any discs
4. Booklet and a sturdy cardboard box

I would have preferred the Steels to be sealed as it can get easily scratched or chipped during transit or if not seated properly.

Its tightly boxed with the mini book, the finish on the steelbooks feels much better than the Best buy and FS editions.

Amazing how precious folk can be over re-releases! Makes me happy personally when I see so many on this thread happy they can get it this time.

Thats what I just don't get.
People against re-releases say that it destroys the value of their original print run.
Would it destroy the enjoyment you get from a steak if nobody in the world was starving?

They're in it for the profit I guess and I've no much sympathy for speculators.

Im glad they do these sort of re-releases, means others can enjoy them. I dont collect for profit, just love the amazing artwork.

I too don't understand people who get mad about re-releases. But if I had missed it and if I had paid 2x the retail price on eBay after it went OOS, I'd be mad :(

I can see your point, but people have to decide what's worth it to them personally.

I've bought things in the past for twice their retail price or more, but I've been happy to get what I want when I want. There are steelbooks now that I missed out on but don't mean enough to me to warrant the secondary market asking price. I want the Play.com Taken steelbook. I didn't at the time which is a shame as £10 was a good price. You can pick it up for around £40 now, that's too much for me. I'm sure it's worth it to some people but I'm not one of them. It's not even the money so much, it's what I get for it.

This is an outrage! Im out of this steelbook game, these re releases are devaluing my collection! I hope these have no inside art and printed logos!

Seriously though, if this is the same as the first edition which I have, its well worth picking up, its a very nice set and for those who missed out first time around a great opportunity to get one at a sensible price and not be fleeced by the ebay scalpers...Just be careful taking the stickers off the front of the box that hold the data sheet on, its quite easy to damage the front of the box, luckily mine was ok

My only complaint is why dont the editions I miss out on get re released, when things I decide to buy always seem to turn up again LOL :hilarious:

Purchased this set first time round.......still sealed, haven't got around to opening it.

I'd purchased the Batman Begins/Dark Knight jumbo steelbook and Dark Knight Rises steelbook separately....
