Hey all,

Not sure if this is a good idea or not but I know it is something I think about for sure.

Being a reformed completest I would still like to collect the "best" edition of some steelbooks and since most steelbooks have multiple world-wide releases I thought it would be good to start a discussion on the ones that stand out.

I am not necessarily talking about the "grail" edition if a release has one.

Of course for my example I am going to pick a grail. Of all the releases of Gladiator, back in the day, the definitive one would probably be the Taiwan release

Not sure whose pic it is as I googled it, but it is pulling from this site.

Hopefully we can get some ideas going in here and even better would be pics

Thanks
CrashKelly

Hi CK

For me this is the most definitive CA release. One of the lowest print runs for this steel, if not the lowest and one of the best 1/4 slips ever

The Taiwanese writing and the pic of captain america make this stand out as the most definitive for me :scat:

Awesome and thanks for chiming in.

If I knew all I had to do was feel sorry for myself to get some attention I would have done it long ago :D

Thanks again

Hard to say tho cause the IM2 Play is damn good too. I mean in hand it looks better than the IM1 play.

Gladiator and thor taiwan releases are hard to get hold of know and are rare. Artwork on both is gorgeous...

Great idea CK. I'll vote for Zombieland original release from Germany. In regards to Gladiator, the Poland steelbook is the same steelbook, only slipless. The cheaper alternative for people opening them up.
