Jason's deformities were already set up in the first Friday the 13th which was released before the Elephant man.

Again, the bag thing was just one of those coincidences that happens every so often in hollywood like Armageddon and Deep Impact or Volcano and Dante's Peak having similar ideas and releasing within months of each other.

Friday the 13th Part 2 was filmed in summer 1980, Elephant Man was released in October 1980. I still can't see any way to accuse them of ripping off something that wasn't released until after they'd finished filming

Totally agree about Miner being a hack, he stole all the best kills in Friday 2 from A Bay of Blood

I dont believe for one second that any of those movies were a coincidence. Nor do I believe Steve Miner's BS story.

Zavvi usually put steelbooks up for pre order either 12pm or 6pm but don't take my word for that, it's just from my experience.
