high do you know of any of the european countries that will be selling the full uncut version
any help much appreciated thanks,,
I'm afraid I don't know that. Checking each specific thread for those editions might be your best bet.

But if Sony overruled the BBFC's desicion what's to stop them doing it for more countries to gain wider audiences?

It was Sony UK decision to go with 15 Cert
BBFC passed the film uncut with 18 Cert and it was Sony UK who wanted it to be 15 Cert so they cut the Film to get a 15 Cert
Sony UK could have released on Blu ray Uncut 18 Cert version if they wanted as that was already passed uncut by the BBFC with no requirement for any cuts

I have this also order from France as I like the Artwork and will find out if its uncut as it says running time is 132 minutes
But even the UK listing for the Blu ray says 132m so that info listed is incorrect

Its only a few seconds of a cut and running UK running time is 131m 34s (26 seconds cut )
Uncut version is 132m

The only 100% confirmed uncut version so far is the USA Blu ray 2 hours 12 min = 132 min
I have the USA Blu ray so that is 100% confirmed uncut
Others like German Release date 19th February and Czech version Release date: February 11th have been mentioned uncut has anyone got early delivery yet to confirm this

It depends what rating Sony want on the releases for European market for each country
If they wanted they can release it uncut with 18 Cert from countries matching rating system for 18 cert

The German and Czech releases are confirmed to be uncut (see respective threads).

Since the film was only cut for its cinema release in the UK, it would seem logical that the international releases of this title are uncut, apart from the UK one, which was sanitized for a more audience friendly rating.

Has anyone got delivery yet as the German Release date is not until 19th February and Czech version Release date: February 11th
As until actual in hand it cant be confirmed uncut or not uncut

The only Blu ray release 100% confirmed uncut is the USA Blu ray Release Date: December 30, 2014

All Blu ray listings on websites worldwide including the UK say 132m which for the UK is incorrect as its real running time is 131m 34s and cut

Well that was my point, what's to stop them doing it in different countries?

Regarding the few seconds of cuts, once the running time is over 131 mins (which it is) I guess it has to be classed as 132 mins?

The full specifications of the German release have been published and it is stated to be identical to the uncut US R rated version. I assume they must have got this information from Sony (Germany) rather than making it up.

Edit: The full specifications are detailed on the German site bluray-disc.de. I did post a link but it's been removed. The page is easy enough to find, just Google it, using the site and title as your key words.

well these companies are starting to take the piss with us here in the uk,
hercules now this, why are germany getting all the special treatment,
mine hasnt even turned up today which is very unusual so i cant double check it,
but i remember that cork screw scene being a very memorable scene,
someone needs to speak to the people who are actually responsible for creating the uk discs,
p.s. there bunch of wankas,

I've watched the movie, and the annoying thing is, is that the scene is still very graphic. If they're trying to prevent a 15 year old taking a corkscrew to someone, removing a few extra frames doesn't make any difference.

The whole thing is quite baffling.

at the end of the day its a way to shift more discs by making it a 15,
if they were really concerned about the cork screw scene they would create 2 different versions for 2 different age groups,
i guess as germany only have a 16 rating to our 18 rating they thought well for the sake of one year will leave it,
either way its bollox and we the english are being shafted,

Or make even more money by releasing the "Directors cut" 6 months down the line!

im assuming the lack of information today means im not the only one late receiving this,
i thought it might of turned up friday if not today im really surprised its not here yet
very unusual, is everyone else in the same boat,,
There aren't any unboxing video's around yet and I've only seen one in hand photo so it must have shipped late bud.
