I doubt itll have much to do with the TV show, but as stand alone action movie shld be pretty badass i think

jus hope this version is extended as apparently studio self-censored the movie to get a 15 cert here in the uk

sorry to sound the pessimist here but how it will even compare to edward woodward?? no disrespect to denzel but maybe some remakes they should leave alone.

I totally forgot about this film, saw the trailer a while back.. have to say this film (trailer) doesn't really remind me of the tv show so I'll be watching it as a stand alone, but with hint of the original story.. maybe.

Edward will always be the equalizer to me, started watching it when I was seven back in the 80's.. excellent theme tune
When I watched Edward (as a 7yr old) I saw him as an "old" man, so if they would have set him up in this roll again for the movie I would still see him as a little old man, so for me personally I would accept the 79 yr old actor as the Equalizer quite happily lol.

This should be a good film, I might skip the cinema and go straight for the steelbook so I'm very interested in seeing the artwork for this ;-)

I saw the title and thought of the Arnie flick 'Eraser'. Got as far as people praising it as best film of 2014, and even THEN wondered if it got a cinematic re-release.

Not keen on any of the 3 choices. I suppose the first one is slightly better but it's not nice enough to make me want it.

Normally, when the steel is announced before the movie's even released it's usually a tactic because the film's crap - make some extra £'s from us collectors before the general populous realises it's a turkey.
