I'm starting to think maybe this should be a 'must buy' as I've just seen the remake trailer and it's excited me a little. I bet the new version will get the steelbook treatment too so can you imagine the original and remake steels side-by-side! Eeeek!

Yea I realise that. I think as the SFX improve they can take it down another path which is interesting. Love the look on the new version. Hope the trailer isn't the best part like with most. Lol.

The Hut are actually quite good for pre-orders. Have this, Ghostbusters and Hellboy all ordered.

My fav horror movie packaged in a steelbook...almost home!! cannot wait for this! I'd love 2 and Army of Darkness given the same treatment. Best horror trilogy IMO!

Hey, no fair. You guys get an Ultraviolet code with Evil Dead in the UK? It's not even UV enabled for us the US. Oh well. Must be a different distributor over there. I think Anchor Bay has distribution rights over here and they don't do UV. Can't wait for this steelbook. One of my favorite horror series. Bring on the sequels too.

Fantastic. They use a special box that all but eliminates the risk of damage. In fact, I haven't received a single transit-damaged steel since they started using it earlier this year. I buy with absolute confidence from them now.

It will be intresting to see if they release another edition of Evil Dead anywhere to cash in on the upcoming remake

Can't wait for this steelbook. Looks absolutely great. And this inside artwork. It is a winner. And also I haven't seen film for long time so I will have to watch it soon. I was seriously scared when I watched that as a kid

Only real downside is I wish it made it for before Halloween. Halloween's usually when I like to slip on some horror movies for the occasion as well as buy some new ones, and with me on a horror budget this year, this could of been a treat for the holiday (Along with Ghostbusters. Not horror, but has ghosts, so yeah... ;P)
