I was gonna use the same artwork as Zesty, but didn't want to be a copy cat, so I used the Stallone pic from the first movie.

I didn't think that anyone would notice. I should have known better lol.

Not good I'm afraid mate but I had once the same predicament do I went in store bought another copy and voila one receipt just take back the slashed one with said receipt tell them about the damage and demand your money back simples! Lol

That's not a bad shout - I thought I would just be able to get an exchange (considering it's HMV exclusive) if I didn't have the receipt but if not that's what I'll do!

They normally do exchange if you have no receipt as long as they can see on their systems that its bought from in store & not on-line. My experience anyway!

Hell yeah...it finally arrived after 3 weeks, no damage at all even though packaging was quite bad as we all know. Just watching it in English and it's great. One more month for the German edition with the familiar German voices.

Well I got the replacement - perfect condition, no slash.

Funny thing is, I walked in and said 'I was given this but it doesn't play, can I exchange it for another one?' (I wasn't going to admit what the real problem was, she'd thing I was anally retentive). The girl said 'usually we would but without a receipt you could have purchased it from anywhere, we aren't the only retailer selling it'. My response was 'it's HMV exclusive - should I go and get the replacement now?'

Her manager standing behind her just chuckled

Just picked mine up instore because I didn't order online before they sold out (Stupid skyfall 20% voucher, I've been trying to get the worlds biggest basket)

Be careful when you open it - it can be easily damaged 'cause mine was quite hard to open; I had some problems but lucky me I got it right in the end.

youtube is your friend.

Practise on one you dont mind destroying.
Pick up the cheapest ugliest steelbook you can find....
