Sorry but with only a couple of weeks to go Zavvi have yet again screwed up. Cancelled this as I cannot take the risk it's the cut version. Especially considering the price. Prefer the art on this over the German versions so would have gone for this. Sorry Zavvi yet again you have failed.

Its a Lionsgate Release
Its still possible the steelbook is the extended version and most likely is the directors extended cut
There is no longer any listings for the theatrical cut on Zavvi or Amazon.uk

The listing's now shown on Zavvi and Amazon.uk for Standard Blu ray release of The Expendables 3 is only the extended cut

This been from Lionsgate you can be sure it will be a gloss finish

I have my body armour ready

I'm not 100% but considering its only the extended cut now showing in the listings on Zavvi/Amazon it has to be this same disc that's in the steelbook

Your most likely correct, if they have removed the theatrical cut version from other stores then it's most likely the extended only cut that is being released.

The only UK release is the unrated version! The same disc will just be put inside this steelbook

I have cancelled my order for now due to some of the Disney steelbooks release dates changing to 8th Dec

I will pick this up at a later stage and hopefully with a price drop in the new year

Disney Steelbooks take priority over The Expendables 3
I also have the German steelbook of The Expendables 3 on order anyway

Personally Paul, if I were you I'd cancel the German one (They'll always be around-huge print run, even the first two) and hold onto this.

This hasn't shown up anywhere else and I'm betting once we see in hand pics it will look the business and can see it eventually selling out.

That's just my take on it anyway

Oh right. If you're reordering that quickly then you'll be fine. I thought you were going to leave it a while.

I'm hoping for a full gloss finish. And I expect the high end price is reflecting that.......

Yeah, I'd take that with a pinch of salt. As far as I know, there is only one release and it's not cut.

Yeah I thought I'd just mention it here. I'm pretty sure it will be the unrated version too. They get absolutely everything wrong. I sent them a message recently regarding a message I got from them and it in mentioned the "we pride ourselves on accurate information" or however they say it (I know it's been mentioned a fair bit) and I went absolutely mental at them. It just struck a nerve and couldn't help myslef. the amount of times they send me wrong info or when I send something back for a replacement I get a refund (happened a few times now) but the one that gets me is the lack of reading a message you send them and getting terrible replies. I've had some strange moments with zavvi. I've even had a message back when we are 3 or 4 messages into a query and they have asked me what item am I querying!! It's at the top of the query for Christ sake and we have already sent messages back and forth about the item. Completely useless
Sorry to go off track.

Cancelled this recently anyway. Will get it next year at some point.
