Must admit had high hopes for this getting the steelbook treatment for sometime. Glad its not a Zavvi exclusive as it might encourage slightly more competitive pricing. Now retailers (Zavvi especially) are really taking the piss out of us consumers since the fall of Play and HMV; charging over the top prices for new releases, to the point where they are more expensive than the 3d versions and rereleases like Die Hard being majorly overpriced! It's making collecting a rich mans game now which is a real shame.

Been hopin for a steelbook release for this! Day 1 for me. I would venture to guess the price listed is the msrp and amazon is any cheaper than zavvi on new releases catalog or otherwise. Actually zavvi is cheaper with many uk releases

Why is it 15.99 instead of the ''standard'' 14.99 - which was already 4 gbp more than what Play.com charged for catalogue releases?!?!?!?!?!?

Zavvi can charge what they like because there's very little competition, and all the time their releases sell out there's no incentive for them to lower prices.

You also cannot expect them to match Play's prices now that the Government have abolished Low Value Consignment Relief. Realistically, prices 'should' be 20% higher now that Zavvi are shipping from the UK mainland and cannot avoid charging VAT.

I thought they still shipped from the Channel Islands? Everything I get from them has a customs form on it

I think Wreck posted before that they had multiple warehouses, so they may ship from different locations, including Guernsey since they are/were based there, but they can no longer avoid 20% VAT by shipping from the Channel Islands.

i dont know whether this has been said before but there is some artwork up on sainsburys website for this (under pre order movies)

wheres the art for this? They must be doing something special with this one:D Artwork possibilities are endless. Hope they don't disappoint.

MUL-TEE PASS!

I hated this movie when it came out, as I was hoping for a 'hard' sci-fi action film. But once I relaxed and allowed myself to enjoy the comedy and 'flamboyance' it became a favourite.

I have the metalpak, the artwork will need to excel for me to buy it.
