Again, proves that Zavvi are just money hungry, and robbing us all blind. They put the "steal" in steelbook

They can ask for whatever price they deem is worthy. How can they rob you if it is your choice whether to purchase. Remember you do not have to buy it. It is your choice. Price too high ? Give it a miss. I'm sick of people saying they been robbed, or Zavvi are thieves. If it wasn't for them there would have been hardly any uk releases of steelbooks lately. I still think anywhere between 15-20 pounds for a uk exclusive is reasonable catalogue titles or not. Single discs or not its the price we pay for having a company like Zavvi actually doing something. We had it too good for a long while with play and got used to it even take it for granted that some of the steels were less than the amarays.

Myself I'm happy with the whole thing just as long as steels are coming out ill buy them and find the prices wry reasonable too.

Still not sure wether to pick this up as I haven't seen it before and not sure if I will like it. Will wait for confirmed artwork before deciding.

Well I can't be bothered to continue to debate about how I feel about Zavvi's over the odds pricing other than its making it hard for some of us collectors to continue on our hobbie! In other news; if you look closely at the front cover you can see the profile of Bruce Willis' face ;)

they have to increase the prices because lot of people here return their steelbooks due to infinitesimally small paint chips and stuff like that.. they loose a lot of money due to return costs refunds + they cant sell that steelbook again.. therefore they charge a higher price to cover this expenses

With all due respect, that shouldn't be the consumers problem. If the Steels are manufactured and packaged to a higher standard then it wouldn't happen so frequently. The ONLY reason that they charge such high prices is because of the current climate of the market. Collectors and Ebay 'rip off' merchants are like circling vultures..

Supply and Demand.

Please for the love of god do not use the floaty heads again!

Its such a cult classic you could just put the multi-pass on the front and people would still relate to it :hilarious:
that woulda been wicked!!

I have the regular Blu Ray I may just be tempted I love it that much.
I have the US 2.0 release

Wasnt there some weird situation with the blu-ray release ages ago whereby they released a version and the picture quality was awful, so they had to be recalled and they rereleased it tidied up?? I remember buying it and being worried I had bought the lame version
yeah they remastered and re-released it as the blu-ray looked shocking.
2nd release isnt exactly demo worth but its an improvement for sure.

i watched this last night, forgot how funny it was spoiler alert if you haven't seen it

If anyone is going to get rid of their US remastered version to get this, give me a shout ;)
might do...but depends what cut we're getting in the steel

Yawn!

hey, never ordered steels rom Sainsburys before - hows the shipping packaging?

Don't know about Sainsbury... but if you order from Zavvi the packing is pretty good. Carboard box with foam wrapping inside.

Sad to hear its the bad Fox transfer on this release. I do like the artwork thou.
