Oops! I accidentally clicked "Thanks" instead of "Post Reply". Not sure how I did that, lol. Sorry razr24788, but I wasn't thanking your post. :)

What I was going to post:

I know Fox UK blu-rays discs tend to be region B locked, but I'm REALLY hoping this ends up being region free. I dig the artwork and would easily replace my amaray version for this one.

You're not the only one who's ever done that, so don't sweat it! Hope you enjoy yourself here at HDN! :)

RE: the Pathe transfer... The DNR might not be as criminally bad as some (Lookin' at you, Predator UHE!) but it is noticeable, and I find that's enough to become a distraction.

Does anybody know how the UK transfer fairs in comparison to the German disc as i have the German Steelbook and just wondered if it is worth the upgrade to the UK Steel?
I quite like my German Steel and will only double dip if the UK transfer is better.

Amazons picture looks brighter in colour

This is 20th Century Fox though and as far as I know they usually release matte steels. I don't think you are going to be able to get anythimg like that vibrancy with a matte finish.
