but have to agree that unless bubble wrap is used inside, I don't think the HMV box is the best form of transport?
I don't care what anyone says. I think it looks great in the pics provided today. Can't wait for mine to get here!!!!

Garggh! Second copy received, also scratched and dented, and with rips all over the shrink wrap. I can't believe you guys are getting decent copies, this is the worst experience I've ever had with HMV. Again nothing to do with the packaging, this is damaged stock straight from the warehouse. I'm just glad the damn thing hasn't sold out from the website, otherwise I'd be running around trying to pick up security-tagged shop copies. Come on HMV, this ain't good enough!![]()
Got mine today too and just a little warning to those that dont open them mine has a lovely dent in the back obscured by the card/paper slip most likely due to the terrible HMV packaging![]()

Hey.....I picked mine up from the store yesterday and it also has the faintest indentation (which can only be seen when you hold it a certain way to the light) on the middle of the back cover under where the info card is. Could this be an internal HMV shipping problem?? These things probably arrive at the shops squeezed into flimsy cardboard cartons after all![]()
It's not that flimsy the boxes that they are shipped to HMV in. They are usually 15 to a box if G2 as that's how my Dutch Real Steel's arrived. The packing is what I would describe as "Light Mailer Corrugated Cardboard" but all were well protected and mint so cannot lay this one on HMV imo.
Well mine turned up with a whole series of deep dents across the front, like the damn thing had been machine gunned!Definitely not the packaging as it was fine. Poor show from HMV sending out an item in such a shoddy state.
