Mine arrived Mint aswell. I was'nt gonna open it but decided to coz a few have reported dents. I think its been poorly printed coz theres the odd tinny silver dot showing through the paint work but only noticeable when you look very close.

Does your copy has dents and paint chips? Well, mine has 4 dents and 2 paint chips on the back and going back.

Good thread lgans. As I said about mine in the release thread the dent would not be noticeable from outside when wrapped and the card/paper on the back was completely unmarked, but I have very similar marks to those in the OP. This to me suggests a QC problem and like one of the Alliance waves in Canada with the "french stamp" is random. Hate to say it but is this factory caused possibly ?

Thanks mate. I am not too concerned about minor paint issues but the dents are. Emailed HMV mentioning that this could be manufacturing related.

The Warner Steelbooks at Amazon.ca had just a tiny dent under the French stamp but mine has 4 dents.

Thanks for posting Lgans. I've seen many many Steels over the years, from all countries with these kinds of dings and dents. I don't know if it's an issue with this particular title alone, but hopefully some other members can provide more feedback. Good luck!

yeah ive sent a couple back, if you open a product and its not new as it should be they cannot say no mate. Send it back recorded delivery though.

Yep. I'm a "£13.99"er and the front of mine has had what looks to be a mallet taken to it. Packaging undamaged.

That's always a risk, when steelbooks are made of a shinny/glossy look. Seems they dent faster than matte finish steelbooks.
