FA increased the international shipping postage by two times without any reason from their order system.......The shipping postage increased again and again, the postage is now much higher than the item itself, I think they finally decided to close direct orders by international customers.
Not wise descision I think.

I already have the same Zavvi steelbook

I'm getting this release from film arena for 2 reasons
1) Nice Full Slip and Lenti and booklet etc
2) They have a deal with Disney I will be getting later releases

Disney deal is good for future releases and provides choice to customers
If they get Marvel as part of that deal they will have a winner on their hands

Film Arena have only just got the deal for cooperation with Disney for releases
They did not have that cooperation deal at that time and is why they said would not be part of FAC and was just the normal retailer release

Now that they do have this new Disney partnership is why they can do FAC releases with Disney releases so previous releases and new releases can happen

imo don't really see how zavvi would be dealt a death blow as zavvi have been the biggest uk retailer of disney steelbooks to date and film arena are in different continent which has no bearing on uk release's !

Zavvi disney releases £20-25

FACs aren't much more.

People who collect the marvel and disney releases aren't generally just casual collectors. They've struggled to shift all the last few marvel releases, just look at Star Wars too. People aren't mugs and are wising up to their antics.

Zavvi can keep churning out steelbooks for the sake of churning them out but there steelbook sale section is just gonna keep getting bigger.

FAC print runs of 750, in addition to FA's ridiculous postage costs (they wanted almost $40 just to ship two steelbooks) means FAC will only reach a small percentage of the market. Zavvi is much more accessible to all steelbook collectors, which I believe is what makes Zavvi great despite all the hate we have for the company.

Many of those who frequent this site only purchase FAC releases through GBs, but those who buy from the site know that their shipping costs are as much as the steelbook. This has already prevented me from buying multiple FACs direct from FA.

Zavvi will sell out high demand Marvel releases even if we see Marvel Film Arena Collection releases
The Marvel films as in new films steelbooks sell out with all retailers

Disney new animation films that get a steelbook release Zavvi might see slower sales if the film not that popular but if it's a high demand title they will still sell out because of the demand will be there
