Is it just me or does this have the same problem as The Prestige ( Large dark area at the top front)??

Hope it's just a design flaw and that the finished artwork will be better centered.

Yeah, that's rather bothersome for me, too. Particularly since the way they have the image centered actually crops out a couple of the characters from the full image.

Hell, Mikey's the leader of the Goonies, yet his arms and head are all that make it onto the cover? Not to mention the cutting out of Mouth and Stef entirely.

This was one of the first BDs I ever bought, picked up in a multibuy offer a couple of years ago. It's still a good film but I find it has gotten a good deal less appealing as I've gotten older. I won't be double-dipping but it does look good (assuming they shift the front image up a bit). The inner artwork looks especially good.

Is the "dark" area at the top not just the banner which is applied to say [email protected]? as it appears on the bottom too?

Now thats some freakin sweet artwork. Im glad as a few of Zavvis recent designs have been hit and miss. As iv never owned this on Blu Ray, the steelbook will be a day one purchase. Unless Zavvi jack up the price to something absurd.

I like the artwork but the front image really needs to be moved up as the black space looks pretty bad. I hope common sense prevails and they change it!

This is the same reaction we had with the JP Steelbook until the real pictures surfaced. I really hope the finishing is glossy.

It's quite simple then if you want certain steelbook just create a listing in the steelbook feedback forum & zavvi will do their magic.
