YesAsia have it for $31 inc postage which I guess is the best price for the JP one.

But this one will probably be out before people get it from YA. :)

thats £19.74 by todays currency rates (so 25p difference so considering Zavvi cashback via quidco and Zavvi point, probably works out the same if not a few pence cheaper from Zavvi after all considered)

who said it was £25 then (prior post in this thread.....read it last night)?

In fact I just remembered that shipping isn't free if the item is below $39 so they were probably right. Presuming this will come down to £14.99 on Zavvi, obviously a lot cheaper than getting it from JP

I've never seen the goonies but everyone I know says it's great but I think it is one of those films that you needed to watch as a kid to really appreciate it. I think if I watched it now I would just think it's rubbish.

You definitely need to have watched it as a kid. Watching it now, it's just like standing next to a school playground during playtime - lots of kids SHOUTING REALLY LOUDLY at each other.

Haha that's what I was thinking. I'll give it a go and if I don't like it, I will give it to someone who appreciates it more.

Totally agree homie it gives you that warm feeling inside from when your a kid and you got alot cool friends and your always haveing fun favorite goonie chunk hands down favorite line "Do The Truffle Shuffle" hilarious truely a childhood classic for any generation

Love this film but I'm not sure I can justify importing it twice, as I've just got the slightly disappointing Japanese version (my first Asian import too).

But watching it was fun as I realized I'd only previously seen the UK cut / TV version before.

I reckon it will be different artwork, or if it is the same it will have a different finish or be embossed etc. The only reason being is that Wreck said a while back that Play.com were considering to do a Goonies steel at one point, and my guess is that Zavvi have just picked up on the opportunity Play left behind :)

I hope you're right. This film is one I grew up with and I was around the same age as the kids in it when it was released. So I have a special fondness for it and it's of my all time favs. I specifically held off on the Japanese release when Wreck said the UK would get one. So I hope it gets the treatment it deserves :ohno:
