It's a great opportunity for people like me though who've yet to purchase this on Blu Ray. The fact it's a limited exclusive Steelbook is a real bonus

Great choice of cover. I am glad I bought the Japan version now. 2 different artworks for an 80s classic. This is the sort of movie I don't mind double dipping on.

It also means the Japanese version is not useless anymore.

I thought I liked this better than the Japanese release, but I've just watched your youtube video Barry and now I'm unsure again

Will have to see this Zavvi one in the flesh before I decide witch is best!!

If the Zavvi version is flat and matte, then I will prefer Japan version. It is turns out embossed and glossy, I may have to rethink. However, as The Goonies is in my top 5 movies EVER, it is a bonus for me to have 2 different steelbooks of it.

This has probably already been mentioned, but as pointed out to me on Facebook... the bottom of the artwork is cut off. And what's with the blank space at the top? It seems to me like they need to move the image up.
