Received my copy today. A glossy finish, wouldn't say it's full gloss. It looks whiteish, the title is bare metal though. I like it

I can't speak for The Graduate specifically, but my copies of Mulholland Drive, Only Lovers Left Alive and Sin City all arrived with bubble wrap and in white boxes. Hope this helps.

Yes it did with the usual thin foam piece.

Not a fan of this, the front is far too plain. I don't know why you would leave half of the cover blank.

Reason is
I requested Zavvi to use bubble wrap in the White boxes after I got a damaged Indiana Jones Temple of Doom Steelbook as I was furious with them about the damage
I even went as far as saying don't ever ship to me without using the bubble wrap

How long they continue doing this is a ??? we will just have to wait and see
If they continue to use the Bubble Wrap in the White Boxes its something I welcome and like that they listened to my request

Cons:

Too much blank space on the front. Just lazy design. Why is Hoffman so small other than to save color ink? Why ignore classic already available art/imagery?

You can add that they took the iconic Hoffman pose...

and turned him into a blurry, lo-res mess too.

Honestly guys, this looks a cheap and lazy steel in hand. I'd recommend giving it a miss.

I was on the fence for this one, but I'm still unsure. I think it's great that the steel is white vs. a brushed metal and that it's glossy. But even though it was intended to be a simplistic design, I think it's too simplistic. There's a point where the design can be simple and classy, or bare and dull. This falls somewhere in between IMO.
