LOL My wife would agree with your assessment.

There are two elements at play here: 1) it is one of my favourite movies and 2) yes, I like the idea of having my favourites in a collectible SB so I am willing to accept art design that doesn't necessarily do much for me.

We can't always have our beans and eat it too.

Love this film even though I have seen it more time than I can remember.
Definitely getting this, and for those who don't like the front cover it's frickin Steve McQueen, one of the coolest men who ever lived, on a frickin Motorcycle with Mr Death Wish/Harmonica Charles Bronson on the back in lovely steelbook awesomeness, what's not to like?

Love the artwork except from the green writing. It just doesn't sit with the black and white of the rest of the steel. I think losing the green would give it a more classic feel.

There's big interest from outside the UK on this one, so a sellout from Amazon in advance of the release date is very possible. It's currently selling at the rate of about 100 per day.

This has shifted over 500 copies since going up for pre-order on the 1st. I think Amazon will probably sell out of their allocation in a couple of days. Whether they can get more I don't know, as it isn't an exclusive. Either way it's proving a big hit.

456 so sold another 50 in 3 hours. This allocation looks like it will go in the next week or two as I can't see it continuing to sell at this rate but may not be a high print run for a catalogue title. Never seen the film so looking forward to receiving it - in 3 months time!!!
