Strange for a film that is so staggeringly awash with colour that they should pick something as bland as this for the steelbook. They missed the boat the boat with this one. Enjoyed the film far more than I thought I would.

I'm happy with the MoC Cleopatra steelbook. It has the same gold finish, but it's a better looking steelbook overall imo.

Completely open to either being damaged or stolen!

Heard the same thing in a few threads from Amazon lately, they've even sent overseas like that. It seems like isolated incidents though, must be some mix up because they're usually so good with their packaging.

Mine came in a frustration free suspended box which was good but that box was inside another much bigger box and that was excellent.

They must be trying to recoup some of their packaging costs from Pacific Rim... from what I've heard so far, people for the most part have been receiving those well-packaged and in good condition.

Bummer that it's a metalpak. That cover artwork is fantastic.

I will wait until someone else releases a steelbook with this artwork (since it's already approved). Maybe a specialty type release?

Elseways I'll remain undecided on what I want to do.
