My online order was cancelled but I found the last copy in store and I don't think it's got the problem. It's a lovely steelbook. The glue on the front was a nightmare to get off without ripping the jcard but I did it.

It's a bit sad and confusing. It seems to be sold out everywhere and then online one minute it says discontinued and then back, glad I got one instore

Yes and it doesn't seem to have the alignment issues I was told about which is a bonus. It's a lovely steelbook and I have many Tarantino steelbooks so this is a nice addition.

FYI the reason it keeps going back into stock is because the moment they've cleared a returned item they put it back up for sale. I can understand this but why say its discontinued when they're still determined to sell every copy (damaged or not).

I imagine things will cam down soon now the majority have decided if they want to keep it or not due to the return by 21 days policy.

Received my second copy yesterday and was delighted to see the alignment is much better on this one... Such an awesome looking steel Now bring on Kimchi's!!!!

For those that have ordered in the last few days. I've just been on the phone again as my order status now shows as out of stock. The guy I spoke to checked for me and said that 14 orders are on back log for this item. He advised that they have been getting around 3 copies in a day and that there is a good chance I should have one within a week or so.

Still not very hopeful but unless I get one I don't think I ever will. eBay prices are ridiculous ! Someone is selling one for £55 :0

With the item suddenly going out of stock a lot of the scalpers are aiming for speculative prices and aiming high.. This has the best artwork for my tastes but with multiple releases in steel format my guess is those who missed out might get a better deal on ebay if they tough it out as the market settles down ..I am however an optimist!!

Well I hope your right! But tbh if HMV don't get anymore stock I can't see it coming down much as less and less copies will be listed. The price for auctioned copies has risen steadily from around £25 to £35/£38 over the last week.

Fingers crossed I can get one otherwise I might just go for the German edition

HMV haven't cancelled my order although it's marked as "Out Of Stock". Hmm...

Picked up a copy, this morning, from my local HMV. They only had two in stock and one of them, had a great big dent in it. When the sales person started to take the security tag off the good steel I thought that too was about to have a dent. I kid you not, it took over two minutes for the guy to get the tag off, with plenty of grunting and what sounded like the steelbook getting a bit of a bashing.

Surprisingly the steelbook looked fine after the tag finally came off. Checked it out once I got home and it has very minor alignment issues. When I say minor, I mean I had to use a magnifying glass to see it, so I'm not really bothered by it.

The steelbook does seem to be disappearing off the shelves pretty quickly so if you want one, now's the time to go hunting for one.

The disappearing seems to have started some time ago, it's vanished from most stores. Anyone looking check their local Fopp stores also
