Since Future Shop does not have the 3D in SB I would be interested if the Best Buy version is 3D and has the lenticular cover, otherwise I think I will order the 3D version from France.

Sadly I'm going to put all my chips on this being a slipcover. I really hope I'm wrong. And I don't have any "proof" but I bet you anything if it was a steel it would be the same shared with FS.... well only time will tell and I will keep track on this thread.... fingers crossed!

I agree as of late BB have been quick to identify steelbooks as steelbooksin the title. Would be AWESOME if this was a steel though

After further research, I really don't think this is a steelbook. I'm betting it's just an exclusive cover containing the documentary "A Hobbit's Tale Part 1: The Journey Begins"
