Made a trip to galleries vic to get a low number as I saw someone else had, all I could find was 1000s and 16000s. I think these will be around for a looooooong time!

There's no point in numbering steels when you make a 30k print run in a country with 23 million people.
For comparison : Play & Zavvi do 4k print runs for the UK which has 63 million residents and most of them only sell out after a couple of months ...

Really? I must have missed those. In my experience, the 4k print-run titles are snapped up like like gold dust.

It will be around for a while, I am sure. I do not think there is a single country that has these steels sold out yet. Even Korea that has everything else in "out of stock" status has a bunch of these in every online store.

Some do but a lot don't, it depends on the title. Godfather, MIB trilogy and Transformers were 4k but were available for a long time.
