Mine turned up, looks like they are back to using the boxes. Not a mark on mine though, phew.

Quite a plain looking steelbook though, no embossing or debossing on this. Just a plain flat one, we've been spoilt with the recent flood, however for £18 I expected more.

No embossing or debossing and no inside art! Major fail. Glad I joined the group buy for the FS version.

Gotta agree with what your all saying here. This steelbook is shocking so glad i got the FS District 12 as well! If only play.com had got the Hunger Games steelbook for the UK they would of done a better job, a fail once again from HMV!

by the sounds of it the discount code softened the blow.
still havent got to see mine yet. post doesnt turn up to mine until about 3pm.
thats if it turns up. suprised PLAY didnt get in on this one.

While it's not in the same league as the D12 steelie, I don't think it's as bad as what everyone is making it out to be.

I definitely prefer it over the Canadian Mockingjay version that's for sure.

No iNside artwork haven't HMV learnt anything. Apart from that I do prefer this to the future shop edition, as I prefer matte finish steels

Shame there's no interior art, but I don't think it's a big deal... you can add your own if you're that bothered. I'm just happy it has both front and back art with no printed logos/info. :D

Postman has been and gone, no sign of this or my copy of Rumble Fish (getting beyond a joke with that one).

I really don't think it's as big a deal as people are making it out to be either, the Drive HMV exclusive had no inside art (or embossing) either but it is still one of my favourite steels and I have seen many people on here who agree with me on that.

Also I really like the front/back. Don't usually go for the matte finish paint, I find it just doesn't produce the vibrant colours of a glossy finish but I must admit they have done a really good job with this one.

I think it's because Drive was the best version available. I also think the artwork was much better anyway, especially the back. This on the other hand is very plain looking and both FS releases are miles better, that's why it's a bit of a let down.

My Futureshop 'District 12' Steelbook's just come through the door :oohyeah:

The run time is 2Hrs 22m. Looks like it's the Unseen version also as it's the same length as the HMV Blu Ray :p
