I'm glad I did instore pickup had to cancel my preorder the 27.99 combo buy for both steels was to good to pass up.

Ugh. Preordered online. Catching Fire says it shipped on the 6th and Hunger Games has not shipped yet. Then I got an email saying Catching Fire is back ordered and unavailable. After they told me it shipped already..

On the phone with Best Buy.com now to try and switch these to an in-store pickup so I don't have to deal with their shipping.

Yeah, it being backordered online is what bugged me. So I ran out to my local store and got one no problem. When I get the other one I'll just return or sell/trade it. Not sure I'll be pre-ordering from them anytime soon again, unless I do store pick-up.

And of course I get the email this morning saying the other one shipped.

Weird.. I ordered 2 sets back to back, one is preparing for shipment, the other is backordered. Strange. They still have them at my store apparently.. but I hate going out to it, so maybe I'll send the wife.

My pre-order for the bundle never shipped so I cancelled and did an in-store pickup. I am glad I did because the Best Buy I go to is pretty small and they only had about 4 copies of The Hunger Games on the shelf when I got there an hour after opening.

ok.. so a small update. My wife did indeed go to the store and pick up the two she wanted. But this takes the cake, no more than 3 hours after the "backordered" email, both my orders are now marked as shipped.. So I'll have 3 sets and not the two I wanted. Eh.. oh well. I'm sure someone will take it off my hands.

I got the steel deel of the day.

After my frustration with online, I decided to just go in and pickup. Good thing I went when I did.

I snagged the last Hunger Games, there were enough Catching Fire, but definitely depleted stock. They rang up for the $27.99 deal. That's when it happened.

My cashier told me he could save me $20 if I was approved for a BBY credit card, and $10 if I applied and was denied. 3 minutes later Catching Fire is now $11.49, and the subtotal is $17.99.

$19.25 after tax. And both are in perfect condition.

It took me 3 tries with Catching Fire but I snagged a mint one. Now the debate is do I buy the UK one. I have both Futureshop from the original and that Mocking Jay matches the original and dsistrict 12 matches the best buy one. This habit is sooo damn bad and I have been scoping Godfather trilogy blufans all day. I already have the UK Steelbook but that blufans one looks amazing. $140 is the cheapest I can find. I can't stop myself.

Bestbuy sent me CF in their brown paper shipping package. Luckily the steels are in excellent condition with no dents, tears, or loose disk. Good thing I went to the store to get me what I wanted. Way to go Bestbuy, now I have to wait for HG to show up. SMH.

That's why I never have my order shipped. Store pickup is the only way for me.But this is a good month for steels for me. I got these and now im waiting on my Gravity and cocoon to come later this week. Then at the end of the month wolf of wallstreet.

I showed up at best buy at 9:55am on Friday and the freaking doors were already open they never freaking open early always make me wait outside until exactly 10am before opening up. And as I walk of course someone is already walking away from the display with a handful of the steels. Luckily they had plenty of Catching Fire, there was only 2 copies left of Hunger Games and I grabbed one hard to pass up for just $5 (the difference of getting both and just Catching Fire) plus as I had a $20 reward coupon I only spent $8.
