Just got this from Amazon - how did I miss it before!?! Only £13.87 delivered... can't go wrong with that price for succh a great steel!

Let me say that you have hit a jackpot with this title especially if you have not watched the movie. This is what our forum does best with its extensive member-contributed, well-documented collection of posts. Too often new collectors get caught up with the latest releases or the rare and highly sought after that they miss out on gems such as this - a beautiful steelbook at an affordable price.

Enjoy your steelbook and thanks for your contribution!

Yeas, this is a fantastic looking steelbook. Better looking than the Korean (I think) release but that one is rarer.
In my book looks are more important than rarity. Rarity can't hurt tho. ^^,

Just stumbled upon this on Play.com I cant believe this hasnt sold out it looks amazing EEK! Ordered!

An interesting subject whilst all the furore is going on about re-releasing steels. For me, the Best Buy Hurt Locker remains the grail, even if it is a G1. There can only be one original release.

Great steel. One of the steelbooks on my "wants" list.

I do own the Best Buy release, as well, but this would make a fine addition to the Black Hawk Down / Zero Dark Thirty / Hurt Locker / Act of Valor line up.

The front is incredible on this one. Clean, simple, intense and without a title definitely something eye catching. And the inside is just awesome. The only thing I don't like is the back artwort, it doesn't really fit into the front/spine concept.
Does anyone know where to buy one cheaper than from zavvi, who ships to Germany and accepts Paypal?
Thank you very much

Down to £12.24 on Amazon.co.uk btw. Best steel I own in my opinion - second discs and DVDs aside, it's hands down the best steelbook package I own and probably my favourite blu-ray other than Apocalypse Now digipak. Recommended! Hope they follow it up with a Zero Dark Thirty one, in the mean time I'm gonna be shelling out £12.99 for the amaray...

my own personal opinion is that the South Korean version is the best, which i own. it's a bd/dvd combo pack both of which are region free and i think the rear artwork on that one is better. nearly the same front artwork on both, but the SK version actually has the title on the front.
