Owning region 'A' & 'B' bluray players is a must in my book, what's WIR?

yea was just coming here to report same that Jungle Book amaray UK is region B/C locked, so i expect a lot more US buyers to cancel for the price zavvi is asking, i wonder if Little Mermaid will be B/C locked as well

I thought Disney movies were generally region free. It would be nice to know if this is also region locked like the amaray version, but my guess is it is...

I guess I'll cancel my order and reorder it after its released if it turns out to be region free and still in stock.

The amaray version is definitely locked- I physically checked it on my US region 'A' Sony BDP-S370 and the typical region error warning message appeared on screen.
It's extremely unlikely the steelbook disc will be different.

I suggest looking into "Codes" for your region "A" players.
Most of the region B discs I have will play in my region A player.
When the notification shows up, I press "Stop" then the number "1" and the disc starts playing.
Check the forums....there is a thread for this.

I also don't own a region free player, we have a playstation and a region free DVD player. Adding another device under the TV is just another clutter. I manage
