my play.com order is still processing in warehouse but i just checked the stock on play with the normal method: add 999 to basket then press update and it reckons that there is just 198 left. Perhaps this may stay OOS on zavvi

Disney UK, the *** of Disney Cooperation.

By the way, is the inside art even from the movie? It's been so long since I've see TJB, so I dunno if that was from the movie or its cheapqual.....

Doubt it zavvi is the only retailer i know that can find more stock when needed.

I'm surprised still no back art. I reakon it will be a continuation of the leaves and trees. But personally want an image like Mowgli in the barrel or kaa wrapped around him. Something like that. Or something with bagheera.... Just realised no bagheera!

Yes it is from the movie. Not seen it for a while but can (worryingly) remember it from start to finish. Favourite ever disney film!
Got a bit of excess anger going on here! Calm down not totally sure what disney uk have done thats shockingly bad. Lots of firms release region locked discs. Nothing new, with dvd nearly every film was regionlocked, blu rays are much better in general but still plenty in uk nd usa, canada and more that are locked.

$37.30 is a pretty high premium to pay for a steelbook most can't open and watch imo

It's not Disney's or Zavvi's fault that some people are too lazy/tight to acquire a region free player. Since the majority of Steelbooks come from Europe, it makes sense for our International friends to make the outlay and grab a region free player.

Very true. I have no sympathy at all. I do hate region coding, but I understand why it is done. Region free players can be dirt cheap and even the standard Oppo's arn't exactly that expensive, especially when some steelbooks can be upwards of $50-60!!

I like to stay away from the non region A ones. And if I would have known this wasn't going to region free like most other Disney titles I would have passed. Now I'm stuck with a movie I can't watch and it is to much a hassle to return all the way to Europe.
