well i care about the print run besides if it's sell out or not.

i don't resell my steels but i like to collect limited editions and i want to know how much they actually limited. from time to time i pull a steel out of my shelf and say to my self "wow, only xx amount of this beauty is made". that makes me happy.

I understand what you're saying but Wreck has already said it's a slightly higher run than Aladdin. The guy knows his stuff so it's still going to be quite limited anyway. WAY more limited than Thor and maybe on a par with Prometheus. The specific amount shouldn't matter too much.

I wonder why they don't upload the inside and rear artwork straight away. Surely it's best to do it from the start so we know what we are getting and also to persuade more people to preorder whilst the hype is at its highest? I know I for one am I little hesitant to pre-order something without seeing the complete package.

I don't know if they can do this but after selling too many of Aladdin and having to up the print run I'm wondering if Zavvi decided to see how many get ordered and then have them printed. Meaning there isn't a set print run as of yet. That would explain the September release date.

If this steelbook isn't sold out in 3 more days, I'll cancel my orders.
why? Because Aladdin sold out extremely fast, this is a first blu-ray release and a more popular blu-ray, and it's not even sold out yet. Meaning; print-run is most likely massive. At least 10K.

Will probably cancel all my steelbook orders anyway because of Iron Man 3. I thought the artwork would be exclusive, but it's cheap and easily made. And expensive.

Ironman 3 may well be exclusive we need to see all the artwork first

Jungle book will be good trade bait down the line its a title i dont want myself but i know i can trade for something else. The print run is more but it will still go oos soon.

What if Zavvi knows we are talking about the print run and they decide to take it off their website and state that is sold out, but that their real tactic is to put the remaining stock (thousands) on sale after the item is released and people look for it?

That's something they could do aswel. So they fool the people who have placed an order by saying its OOP/SOO so they keep their orders, but they place the remaining stock once all pre-orders are dispatched.

I see Zavvi doing this, it's not like their customer service is the best lol :p./

I'm shocked that this SteelBook is still listed! I would've thought that it would have sold out within the first two days! I'm sure Aladdin sold out more quickly, prompting an additional 1,000 units to be commissioned

Obviously The Jungle Book isn't as popular as I had believed

Or the print run is much higher than Aladdin? 8,000?

Anyways, it's a must have release

Or they will screw up and oversell it.
