Received my copy today without a spine slash, but it came bent and part of the spine popped out.

Same here. I am going to wait until the U.S. edition is released here early next year and swap the disc. Still have the old DVD, enough for me right now.

I realized when collecting and buying steelbooks from Zavvi, it's best to have a region free player. Otherwise, I would be doing a lot of double dipping to Region A.

It is a very good idea to have one! All of my Zavvi steelbooks I've bought are Region Free, except this newest addition of The Jungle Book. I will have to keep monitoring the region status for upcoming steelbooks, or consider a Region Free player.

Nah Aladdin is, finding memo is a Disney Pixar release.

i believe that when an item is sold out it is not available anymore the item product page of the item is no longer available

also, i believe nemo is ( originaly )a pixar and disney movie(not just disney, before disney owns pixar obviously)

Got mine a couple days ago. No spine slash as far as I can tell. I've had nothing but good luck with Zavvi so far (knock on wood). Now to decide if I should open it or not. It's region B locked so it won't play, but I did just get a new laptop with blu ray and HDMI out and heard that was a way around the region lock on locked discs.... Decisions, decisions.

What is the matter with zavvi lately!? I have just recieved jungle book steel and the embossing is way off!! Already in dispute eithem over evil dead 2 steel being scratched, now have to sort this!! Getting really annoyed with them now!!>
