I think whether you get this or not will depend on how quickly the computer system can catch up and cancel the order before the night shift pack your steel and send it to the dispatch bin!! - personally I think if it's just 20-30 or so Zavvi might just let these fly

Well if it's anything, mines scheduled to "dispatch" on Monday so I'll let you know if I get a "despatch" email or cancellation.

Let`s hope zavvi will rethink their price policy in the future. First they offer this at a very high price and everyone orders it. I got 4 copies for me and some friends (all of which had a spine cut, for which I got a 4 Euro refund each, which now feels like a joke given the new price). And now you get it for slightly over 1 third of the original price. Since I wanted Toy Story anyway I ordered 2 extra Jungle Book, now I hope that I will at least get some good condition Steels. Seems that they made the print run much to high for this one.

But after all these price drops in the last few weeks for releases that are so new I will no longer pre-order most of the new Titles and I assume most other buyers will do the same.

Aside from all the dissapointment over the prices I have to admit that I still like most of the releases, so I hope they will continue making some great Steels in the future, maybe brining us titles that people actualy want for fair prices.

I agree that Zavvi have brought us some lovely steelbooks this year, but I have to ask them not to start putting them in brine please. It would be an unnecessary measure as I'm sure most of us have no intention of eating them at any stage further down the line

Haven't been charged yet, but mine has gone "Awaiting Despatch" from "Awaiting Stock Pick", also scheduled to "despatch" 10/21

Thankfully we all know Zavvi shuts down early Friday afternoon and doesn't work on the weekend, so there's no one around to actually do anything about these orders until they should be despatching.

I'm so curious to see if this goes through. And if so, if these are just all the spine slashed returns. Still, can't beat free.
