Impressive new entries!!

I'm still on the fence about these later Dario Argento movies! I LOVE Suspiria, Inferno, Deep Red and like Phenomena, Tenebre and Opera, but I have no idea about Stendhal Syndrome, Sleepless and Card Player - all available as nice Digibooks though. Any ideas/recommendations - anybody????

In my opinion the later movies aren't a patch on Argentos early work. I didn't really enjoy Stendhal Syndrome or Sleepless. The Card Player was a little better but again nothing up to the standard of Tenebre or phenomena. I think his style changed too much, the brilliant soundtracks from Suspiria and Deep Red are replaced by rock music which doesn't really work. Not all of his later output is bad though, Mother of Tears was pretty good and Trauma is also not bad. Maybe try and check the movies out before you buy the mediabooks, see what you think of them!:)

I moved your post sgmido to the last digipack i acquired thread.

Cheers Snowblood.. i don't mind but are these titles not considered Digibooks? as they have little books attached inside. Granted they may not be of the same quality than the Universal UK wave (i.e Les Mis) but still Books none the less..

Please advice..

I'd say Sleepless and Card Player aren't in the same league as his earlier work, but i'm a completist so I had to get them.

Work checking out via a rental first as you might love them :)
