With the exception of a few of Rothrock’s Hong Kong efforts, the films these ‘iconic martial arts stars of the 80’s’ were in…back in the actual 80’s when in their (straight-to-video) prime….were bad enough. Now they’re all knocking on 70 years of age and co-starring with some cringeworthy middle-aged blert off YouTube who thinks copying a couple of van damme kicks in front of the mirror and colouring his beard in with black crayon is sufficient to carve out a movie career.

I’d rather buy a steelbook of them sat around playing bingo and arguing the toss over whether Werthers Originals or Fisherman’s Friends are better when you’ve got false teeth.
