Depends how easy it is to get to your store, I would say.

One advantage of collecting (if pre-ordered) or picking up from the store is that you get a chance to look it over for any obvious damage before buying. Whereas, with an online order, you are always at the mercy of the packaging and the treatment it receives en-route (and if you have a postie like mine who seems to delight in shoving things through the letterbox as hard as he can to see how far down the hall he can propel it!).

Also depends on whether your local store keeps them sealed or opens them to display on the shelf, leaving the disc itself behind the counter (which I have seen some branches do), effectively making them second-hand/used before you've even bought them (and obviously no good for those collectors that want to keep them sealed).

I work in town so its easy toget to but my lunch break is usualy at 2pm so by that time the store has usualy been torn apart for steels with only a few left, ill probably just wait for release date and go pick it up so i can get a good quality copy hopefully.

You could always pre-order in store and then collect on release date. They sometimes ask for a £5 deposit, and you pay the difference upon collection. At least that way, you know you will get one, and if they try to pass a damaged one on to you then you could ask to swap it for an undamaged copy there and then (the only time that has happened to me, the damage was hidden under the j-card, so I went back and exchanged it in store at a later date).

If this is the same as the Best Buy (not too dissimilar to the image posted on the previous page) - and who's to say it won't be - then I'll be happy as Larry.
Less crowded front for a start (although the crowded front in the OP would make for an ace lenticular):-

Best Buy . . . spot gloss (lol):-

Overkill with the Batman logo on the front, back and inside? No, I don't think so.

I for one hope for the Art Work in the OP, much better than the BB version

Aren't we promised WEA from Manta and Blufans for this film as well?

I agree, the new BB art is shocking. Much prefer the mock up

Hoping a blufans to go with the Lego movie but I did read manta will do a WEA too. I'll only go for one editon though as I hear the film isn't great and no where near as good as the Lego movie

No the Manta Lab will be their last Manta Global ;) So WWA.

Sorry my bad, that's right the last of the global. Knew I read something about manta and batman Lego lol

Good news, last update from Manta was that they changed their mind and wanted to try and do Lego Batman as exclusive not WEA WWA :) (fingers crossed!)

Oh I have seen that. My mind is scrambled at the moment

Wouldn't a exclusive be WEA though? Otherwise it would just be a global editon!

Logan could be very interesting too considering FAC and kimchi will most likely dress up the WWA steel.
Which I'm also loving the look of anyway but I'll stick with the standard Hmv for that

Yeah, fat fingers there as I typed WEA instead of WWA (But at least I didn't go full WWF like I did last time...)

I just see a post on Facebook stating the 19th of June for release. I went back on to screen shot the post but it seems to have been removed from Warner Bros page?

Further to this Zavvi states the same date.

come on then @Flloydo, do you think this is gonna drop in price or not? :p

Yeah, so risk it then hopefully it will sell out and you miss it

Joking

But I did get the first for £7.99 when that disappeared and then reappeared plus the blufans lenti for a great price so who knows

Also like the original Hmv exclusive it's available from other countries and I'm not one who's bothered about foreign j cards Aslong as the disc works for me and it's the same finsh (unless the finsh is better elsewhere)

But I'm not too bothered about this film in honesty, maybe if blufans do one to match the Lego movie. Maybe

All latest HMV Warner releases seem to be very limited, they sell like hot cakes. I wouldn't be surprised if this sells out soon after release, I didn't take any chances with Fantastic Beasts. I'd be interested to know the quantity they order from the supplier? Maybe we can entice HMV onto the website? ;)

I don't think I seen a HMV title sold put before release date. I think at most you probably get like a week or so to make up your mind.
