pre-ordered this and JB, but like others are saying, so expensive :O I realise Disney always have fairly high prices even for amarays, but this is a lot for a non-3D title...

I usually defend Zavvi. But with that price, they are clearly taking advantage of us now. They saw what happend with RR and Aladdin and ran with it. I know its retail and whatnot but have some standards. Hopefully it comes with bonus content to justify price.

And I know this doesnt help my argument but.....
:ordered::D

Just an update for anyone using a code when ordering, if for any reason you need to cancel part of the order you are unable to if you have used a code, zavvi will require you to cancel the whole lot, and nobody wants that to happend now ;)

Forgot about the discount code. Canceled and re ordered. Not so bad now at £21.00 each but still expensive. Disney steelbooks though , who can resist !.

Just did the same and with the discount code the steels just came under the custom limit to Norway. Otherwise they would have cost me about £35-40 each!

Lets see what the already mentioned higher print run is.

I fully expected Zavvi to either, increase the run or the price, didn't expect both to happenEEK!.

Ordered...Yeah, the price is a tad high even with the code than we are used to BUT if you are a Disney steelbook completist, you'll buy regardless of the high price :scat:

Some people forget, you can pre-order and cancel laters if wished...And you're not charged till despatch

Artwork is stunning

I honestly think that there is no reason why ANYONE should be complaining about the price. It is what it is. It's their product. They set the price and YOU decide if you want to pay that price. Noone is forcing you to buy it. If you think it's too expensive, don't buy it.

That's the way the world works. I personally think certain Armani jeans are too expensive at over £100, so I don't buy them. I don't go around moaning about the price either though.

Looks like Zavvi have gone down the Entertainment Store route in terms of their pricing and setting their own price. Just because it's Disney, doesn't mean we have to pay a premium for it.

Roger Rabbit was £14.99. Nemo was £16.99. Aladdin was £17.99. Now a further £5 increase.

Disgraceful.

Shame that people won't stand firm and say, sorry I'm not going to pay it.

What's next, a £50 UK steelbook?

It actually does seem there are quite a few people not ordering because of the price.

Actually I did that with a £5 off £50 code on Commando, Black Swan, ID4 and I Robot. Because of lack of funds I mailed them and asked if the could cancel all of them except Commando.
After a few emails back and forth they did do as I asked and I still got Commando at a discount price. Lucky I guess.
