They can shove these where the sun don't shine. I thought the price was supposed to DROP on these? Zavvi are having a laugh now. Just because 'Disney' is on the cover they know collectors will fork out whatever price they put on them. But not me! I don't need to pay nearly €30 on a one disc kids film. And somewhere down the line we will probably get a cheaper 3D Steelbook version of this film. (Germany. I'm looking in your direction!!)

Already £5 more expensive since the last Disney Steelbook?? Unfortunately, I can see this happening to Iron Man 3 also :(

Wreck said this is due to the fact that it's the first blu-ray release that happens to be a steel hence the premium pricing. Sucks but it's the way if we want Disney steels, I guess.:(

I've suddenly made myself very nervous about purchasing this with the discount code. Zavvi will have to honour the preorders even if they decide the code isn't valid with a product like this, right?

Zavvi don't have to honour anything until the money is taken and the goods are despatched.

But, don't worry, I sure Zavvi is big enough to honour if they have made a mistake

aren't most new Disney Amaray's around £20 on release? Ones I've seen in the past were anyway. So paying up to £25 for a stunning steelbook version is fine with me.

Roger Rabbit was 13.99 ~ 14.99. I am sure the price is high simply due to these reasons:

1. Disney charged more

2. It crossed the 15 GBP limit

3. Zavvi then added 20% VAT plus low cost overseas shipping subsidy bringing the total up to 22.99.

Some of the Disney Amarays with lenticular slip like Tron Legacy and Avengers Assemble are more sought after than the Steelbook counterpart.

The US Diamond Edition amaray of this is $35.00 with 3disc plus 3D.
I no that this is a Steelbook but if this has only one disc like JB then its still a rip of as you are not getting the full package I think...

The thing with all the bonus guff is that most people WANT it rather than NEED it. That's why it doesn't fuss me as I hardly ever watch any bonus content, making ofs and especially commentaries.

This release has been a nightmare, you can't get the full package without triple dipping (as I'm probably, begrudgingly going to do) as it's most likely a US import is the only way for us in the UK to get the 3D copy, a zavvi purchase for the beautiful steelbook and then another UK purchase of the regular diamond edition for the bonus features and playable DVD disk. Grr. Hopefully this Zavvi edition will come with all the bonus features or a 3D copy so I can cut down on that excessive shopping list.

I don't know if anyone has spotted this yet, but under 'Product Details' the number of discs has been listed as 1. So no 3D copy or extra bonus features sadly.

Thanks for that toby..;)

So its the same as JB which is what I thought it would be..
