I am really happy I managed to get one of the last copies of this! I am gonna give it a watch since I haven't seen it yet though. If I don't like it, I'll probably cancel it.

I hope everybody who wanted one, got their orders in before it "sold out" Now it could be the natural skeptic in me, but this could all be a marketing ploy. You "sell out" the steelbook and create a buzz for it - people think "oooh look it must be popular 'cos it's sold out" , and then you wait a while and then "ohh wait we have some more copies actually" - now i'm not suggesting zavvi would ever dream of doing this but it would be one way to sell a few more copies

Possibly, but others have eluded to the idea that any cancellations (and there were probably plenty from changing orders on both JB and LM) get thrown into a side pot of stock and go back up for pre-order sometime between now and release date. We saw this happen with Commando, Tron, and others.

there will be a couple of cancellations for both JB and LM from me which were made yesterday as reduced my order to a spare of each in case of "transit damage" Hopefully they won't have been accounted for yet so the people who did miss out can have a chance to get their hands on one!

I doubt that was a tactic here, Disney titles more or less sell themselves. It will pop up again as did all the other releases just for a short while to get rid of cancellations, declined cards etc etc. and for all the doubters who doubted zavvis email earlier today and said it was a ploy, well your eating those words now because it is indeed sold out. Congrats to Zavvi on this release and all of the hard work going into previous and future releases.

Correct, as usual, if there is qty remaining due to cancels, they will go up for sale.

its very common for sold out steels to come back in stock for a short time around release date. It pretty much always happens.

Because Disney make good movies. And for many of us they're part of our childhood.
And it's a little unfair to call them movies for kids. You can't really compare them to movies that are solely for kids.

i personally love disney and pixar for the most part because they do speak toward kids AND adults. Its not dumb down and corney. The animation and imagination that goes into their work is impeccable

I'd prefer them to do titles that haven't gotten a steelbook release, but I wouldn't say no to any of the above titles either.

I really hated the art on those FS releases so I didn't buy. Those plus Aladdin and Lm are my favourites so I'd be very happy with owning them.
