Ha ha. As predicted. Was never tempted by these unless they came with stupendous slips.

Horrific artwork and no slip = complete disaster. :ohno:

So The Hobbit had no slip and now these. I wonder why they haven't gotten the slip treatment as opposed to other releases. No love for LOTR's i guess.

Just Warner's policy on new releases it seems. TDKR didn't get one either.

At least people know which studio to stay away from when pre-ordering Korean titles.

They've done it again..

we’re truly sorry for this mail. We were not able to ship the package
today. We received steelbook items from the supplier and checked
them out. There were lots of damaged items. Mostly loose discs in
the case. We requested the supplier for replacement delivery since
we cannot use these damaged items.

We will get replacement items in a few next days (Unfortunately,
weekend is near. So, shipment with replacement items could be next
week). We will ship the package as soon as we get/check them again.

Sorry again for this delay and inconveniences

They just look like very lazy releases, designed purely to cash in on Steelbook collectors.

They don't appear to have put any effort whatsoever into producing these.

I'm not going to bother with them...
