Wow, G! This will be my first time seeing any of them. Embarrassing, but what better way to see them for the first time than mastered in 4K!
This makes the Original trilogy release inferior :'( can't really complain cause I got the original release for $15
I second that... This is the greatest Trilogy of all time! Each film just gets better and better... TGTBATU is possibly my favourite film ever from the cinematography, the soundtrack, the superb acting and script, the story... A real classic with a belter of an ending! You won't be disappointed.
Is that Ennio Morricone? I love Morricone! :movie:

Do you need 4K television to play movies that are in 4K resolution? Or is normal full hd enough?
No, these are still normal BD discs and play in 1080p HD resolution but the prints are taken from a 4K master and are basically remastered.
Unfortunately it seems that only The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is getting 4K restoration. Other two are just normal re-releases.

I was probably too haste with this information. It's just that people at blu-ray forum seem to be pretty sure of it, but I don't know what their source is.
If true, that would be the worst case of false advertisement in BD history! No way would they play with our emotions like that.. would they?
