This is a nice looking Steelbook. But this movie is truly shite! Anyone expecting a tarantino/rodriguez type movie will be disappointed. If you buy it do yourself a favour and keep it sealed.

This is a ode to the $1 movie karate flicks, the kind with the bad voice over translation and wa-pish sound effects that kids who grew up in the 80s loved. I knew Tarantino only backed this and Roth helped with the screen play so I knew what to expect and was able to enjoy this ol' school my style vs. your style kung fu movie for what it was.

After the German one was cancelled, this definitely seems like an interesting buy - great artwork but the film doesn't exactly sound brilliant! Will hold out for a price drop before buying, I think...

Is the blank spine an error?? If not, would this be the first Steelbook with no writing on the spine?
There has been a couple like that, Tin Tin and Avengers didn't have the titles on the spine. I don't mind it myself, it's looks different to the norm.

Crap apparently. Although it's a homage to those 80's Kung-Fu flicks that were dubbed. So maybe it's intended to be crap who knows? I know Tarantino has put his name to a great deal of similarly bad films, whilst having little to no direct involvement. Shame really but the trailer makes it look interesting, I guess you either love it or hate it? Also, some :boobies::boobies::boobies:are involved by the look of things
