I've seen the film and agree that it can be described as 'homage to those 80's Kung-Fu flicks that were dubbed'. Love it or loathe it, there is no denying that the artwork of this steel is attractive.. with a little embossing/debossing it certainly has potential to be a very nice addition to any collection...
I haven't seen the film yet has it was never shown at the cinema's near me, but the trailer looked good and being homage to the 80's Kung-Fu flicks I'm in regardless. Has for the steelbook, WOW this is an amazing looking steelbook both front and back artwork are great. also hope there's inside artwork, not sure about you guy's but I'd also would like the title on the spine.
I wonder if Universal Studios will surprise us with some em/debossing just like with the Battleship steelbook.

This kind of movie is right up my street and is a day one purchase.... I just want a cheaper price 
I can't imagine Dave Bautista being a good actor outside of wrestling. Hopefully he's just the muscle in this film. I'll probably pre order this anyway coz it looks like a nice steel 
I just finished watching this online. For those who have yet to, I highly suggest doing so before pre-ordering... What a waste. I'm cancelling my order a.s.a.p.
Saw this over the weekend, what a waste of time, very amateurish and not worth a purchase even though the steelbook looks nice, this should be priced at £11-£14 max, will definitely skip and just might consider in the future IF it's debossed/embossed & on sale otherwise a big pass from me.
Universal Steelies seem to take ages to drop in price. Still trying to pick up Ted and Bourne Legacy for a reasonable price. Both still around the Eur 30 mark.
Saw the movie yesterday and God, am I disappointed...
After seeing the trailer, I thought it was going to be my type of movie: over the top action, a good soundtrack and a setting I love. The movie itself was nothing like it though. All Asians spoke English and wore ridiculous outfits and wigs, the action was extremely disappointing due to overused floating rope-jump-tricks and the gore was similar to the stuff in Hobo With a Shotgun. On top of that, RZA basically played one of the main characters and the guy can't act.
No thanks, I'll stick with the 'legit' Asian fighting movies. Canceled my pre-order.

Yea the film reviews for this film are bad but the artwork is really cool, so if the film is bad as some say I may then trade it in the future
That's the same problem I'm having even though I've never seen it.
I've spent to much the last few days on steels, all very cheap deals and I don't really think £18 is worth it for a normal steel.
Decisions decisions lol
Hopefully if we keep hearing more bad reviews we may like the film after expecting a pile of crap
