Both look amazing! It's going to suck trying to decide which to open and which to keep sealed.

They sure look amazing. I was very fortunate to get both, since the site was running slow and my internet connection failed. So I was logged out and had to wait to get back online. Somehow managed to get a copy of numbered from GB and unnumbered directly from Filmarena. It was the craziest GB I have ever participated. Which to open? I'm going to open the numbered, since I wanna see all the content and besides I haven't opened any of my unnumbered editions so far and I'm going to continue that way.

another fantastic release from FA...the Kimchi version is real quality too, but the big heads on both the slip & steel ruin it for me. THIS is the version to own!

same here, but look at it this way. in few years time there's (hopefully) gonna be so many FA releases that no point having them all. the room they take. like Criterion Collection, their releases are awesome (tho underupreciated in this forum, imo) but there is no point having them all, just for sake to have them all.

what I'm saying, picking those films/releases you love is more important than having them all.

and this from guy who got in FF4 GB.

indeed this is what I do, only collect those that I love, whether it is just for the beautiful package or because I loved the movie, but The Martian FAC is THE version to get ! From the look of it FA outdid themselves. So if you loved the movie, this is The one.

They are being released this week, so if Karel is not busy and has time to go get them(if the GB copies are ready for him to pick up), I would assume he would go next saturday. We should get an Update this week as to know what is happening.... we have to be patient...but you will see LOOPER oozes Quality, such an Insane nicely put together Quality Package with such a nice steel and lenti with flip-flop effect and all the Bonus Items make this release, one of their best...The Fullslip has such a nice texture to it. Hope you like it as much as I do (and love the extra Poster card that they included which is not part of the beautyshot because we waited longer for it)

I originally jumped two feet in the GB for Looper and straight away kind if regretted it (because it was FAC, I panicked and felt I needed to although I'm not even the biggest fan of the film itself!!! I've since become more selective with my purchases!)

But the minute I saw that BS I knew I made the right choice.

I agree with you that it is one of their best all round packages yet. It's a gorgeous looking package. And easily THE best edition of the film now.

And that bonus poster is awesome. That's going up on my wall!

I know it is when we see the beautyshot that we know if we made the right decision. Luckily this year with their new way of doing the FAC, they present the beautyshot before so we don't get in blindly (although never regretted when it was a title I liked).
