Just saw this new cover art on Amazon.com and it looks like a Steelbook or another form of metal packaging...

Interesting . I had figured if they were going to release another it would be a white cover. Guess we will have to wait and see. Interested what the back art could be?

Wasn't the 10th Anniversary 4 years ago? This will be the same content as the already released digibook then.

This will soon be changed to The Matrix Trilogy (10th Anniversary Edition) 2003 - 2013

I figured that could be the case... and if it is, I may bite. I have the premium collection steelbook for The Matrix only. Not big on #2 and #3 but if the steelbook is cool enough, I might consider a USA version of the re-release of the German green trilogy steel.

They should just release individual steelbooks for the other Matrix films tired of the same release over and over again and the artwork does not look that nice and it would need a great back and inside artwork for me to buy.

At least the artwork is different.

It's true. I personally prefer this to the art that is on the current US Matrix steelbook. But we see the same steelbooks (re)released in the US and as someone pointed out, no seperate steelbooks of Reloaded/Revolutions.

This is so silly...all the re-re-re-releases. Sure, it's different artwork from the others, but it's still dull, uninspired and mediocre at best. The first Matrix alone has so much awesome artwork potential, yet this is what they go with. 3 people dressed in black, with black shades, giving us "we look badass in black" stares. It's a good thing only two of them have black hair, and the other is bald. Then again, it's Lawrence Fishburne, he's actually black, so he doesn't need black hair to cover the black swag thing.

How about something original, for a change?

P.S - This film was released in 1999. We already had a 10th Anniversary release, 4 years ago.

The thing with this artwork is it doesn't match the other movies at all. I've always hated this artwork, the costume design was almost completely different from teh first film.
