That is where I feel it will be in order within the next 12 months.

This is what I think will happen in 12 months time. This is for sealed/mint steelz, and 'sealed' makes a difference for some.


If we are going to add Iron Packs the list IMO for top 10 including steelz that are likely to rise in value are:

1. Terminator 2 version 2.0 JPN
2. Iron Man FS CA (After all the play.com hype I believe this steel will hold its value)
3. Le Grand Bleu JPN

What do you think is the top 3 and 5 most valuable sealed blu-ray steelbooks in the world are? This is just dedicated for steelbooks, not Iron Packs or steel cases etc.

I have put down 'valuable' not 'top' steelbooks as there is a difference.

There plenty of views and opinions on this but I'll start first.

My views for the top 5 steelbooks are:

1. Terminator 2 2.0 JPN
2. Iron Man FS CA
3. Le Grand Bleu JPN

Where are you getting your prices from? T2 Black edition? Not even remotely close. Here are the top 5, based on actual prices paid, not by what someone thinks to be true.

1) Iron man FS - $800 - $1,000. Last one sold for $720
2) Moulin Rouge - $400 - $450
3) Romeo & Juliet - $400 - $450
4) T2 Black - $400 - sellers had a BIN of $500, no takers
5) John Rambo - $300 $350

One Iron Man was sold over $1000 last year from what I can recall. Its never gone that high again because its one of those crazy bids. Just because a steelbook sells at that price doesn't mean it will 'consistently' sell at that price. Plus you have to be careful of 'shill bidders' that deliberately inflate the price.

Even a sealed one with a ting ding didn't even meet the reserve and ended at around $400

Last 2.0 sold over 500 euros plus shipping and that was when a flood of IM's hit ebay.

T2 2.0 is extremely rare and hardly seen any on ebay where as IM FS are more available to obtain.

Disagree with MR/RJ, they don't fetch those prices yet.

JR sealed at $350? A sealed one will go for around $600. In fact a sealed one is a lot harder to find than an IM FS.

Glad to see Wanted debossed (because I own it ), but I wouldn't even put it in the top 10. I know it's rare & valuable, but I personally don't think it's top 10 worthy. Though, I have noticed the price for this steel slowly rising. I can only imagine what it'll be worth by next year. There are not many copies selling in "Brand New" condition, mostly opened copies (and even they are starting to sell pretty high). Anyways, here are the my top 5 in no particular order:
1.) Terminator 2 V.2
2.) Let the Bullets Fly w/ booklet
3.) Le Grand Bleu
4.) John Rambo DE Uncut
5.) Iron Man FS

This thread isn't the 'top' steelbooks, it is the most valuable and expensive. So you can either hate or love them, this about $$$$

I wouldn't read too much into that auction, I'm pretty sure there was something dodgy about that. The bidders had low feedback so I wouldn't be surprised if there's a non payer and it gets relisted.

No metal slipcases, otherwise we might as well throw in steel tins and the list would go out of control and values will go everywhere.

We will keep this simple to steelbooks, Ironpacks and Viva Metal Box that are all similar collectible steel cases and most popular for collectors.
