We publicised a restock because of the sheer amount of people constantly asking us when we will have any back in stock, and could we please let them know when we do.
If there was a better way to handle the restock please let us know so we can improve the process should the situation arise again.

Yes, 680 copies was a bit of a weird number.
Maybe before concentrating on their next project EBlu could request a further 320 copies to round it up so that the 200 or so that wanted this would have a good chance and everyone will be happy which should be the ultimate goal.

Anyway, bit bonkers releasing 14 copies into the wild like this unless there was no idea of the demand for the product.
Maybe other options like a competitions to write the best product review judged by the CEO or some such could be considered in future.

Now that the dust has settled and The Mummy has found a safe resting place in over 600 different locations from Sweden to Australia and points in between, maybe its time to remember how entirely successful this release has been. A job well done without a shadow of a doubt with no damage issues to speak of and only minor postal niggles at Royal Mail's end.
Splendid and handsome design in that sexy black and gold with plentiful 'bossing across the covers, sharp detailing of hieroglyphs and swirly design together with no skimping of the gold tooling which is in all the right places not least on the three motifs on the box back reflecting the motifs on the fronts of the steelbooks . . . all adding up to a very impressive package.
A triumph in its marriage of faux leather, real wood and felt to make for a lovely-looking and eminently practical housing for the three almost equally handsome steelbooks.
In truth, a decent facsimile of The Book of the Dead movie prop . . . dispatched in excellent packaging.
In conclusion: one to take pride of place in any decent steelbook collection (10/10).

I was able to nab one. Two other people in this thread also mentioned being able to grab a copy after the restock.

At least 3 out of 14 going to ninjas...could be worse!

Mine got kicked out of my cart during payment, but I had previously asked a friend to try to order one for me because I would be at work and figured I would miss it. He just told me a little while ago that he actually got an order in for me! That baby will be mine

Mine was going through the paypal process with the with the circle in middle turning but did take longer than normal and quickly flashed up im sure error then gone. And no longer on cart. And i was pretty fast to stick it in basket and pay using paypal link. I had previously been making sure my paypal and everythingblu account was logged in,unless my paypal decided to log out when it was going through.
But i was very fast but made no difference,im so annoyed still grrr.

The print run for this was daft anyway. 680 copies with most of them now on eBay for triple the price.

I had reservations about spending over €60 on these films to begin with (especially as they can be picked up much cheaper individually) so there's no way in hell I'd be paying any more for this. Slip box or not.
