damn... i was so looking forward to see the real artwork, and now this...
i was thinking of returning "close encounters" because it lacks the gloss on the spaceship, so also not as described, but this TPBTP is totally different to the artwork presented to us initially.

i think i will return both now, this really makes me angry.

wow glad i cancelled, that is rubbish in silver, the picture is white on the mockup shorley zavvi can be done for false advertising.

Wow. What a major let down that is. One of the most anticipated releases of the year for me. It could have been one of the best of the year but that looks pretty bad. Gutted.

Studio Canal have let themselves down with this one. I'll see how bad it looks in the flesh, watch it, then decide whether to send it back.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I like it. (But then I also really like the H & G)

Everyone's getting their knickers in a twist and vowing 'I'm returning this' already from a low res picture of a shrinkwrapped Steelbook. We don't even know what the rest of it looks like!

I don't believe the colours 'cream' or 'white' were once mentioned by Zavvi or listed in their description. It materialized purely from speculation from members on here. So calling for Zavvis head for 'false avertising' is utter nonsense.


It seems anything Zavvi releases at the moment people can't wait to nit pick faults with them. They're damned if they do, damned if they don't.

As I said, from what I can make out from the pic, I think it looks OK and I can't wait to get mine anyway

The mockup is just that, a 'mockup'. And it's a mockup of silver.

Why would a white background have 'brushed steel' effect lines on it??
