That is ghastly. A blank steelbook with a small amount of black for the top 2 3rds of the whole steelbook is ridiculous.

The picture clearly shows white with some wear and tear in random places - it does not show anywhere a brushed steel effect so this is totally misleading.

Fully agree with this.

In that pic it looks like the silver is distressed, so it does look slightly better than the first pic we saw.

I assume the first one was taken in the warehouse or a promotional copy for a competition, and the second was from Empire magazine staff...I'm sure someone will get this tomorrow or Monday and take some pics!

Personally I think it looks good. The Empire pic makes it look a bit better

I really don't understand everyone's sudden change in attitude - everyone was giddy over the unusual cover art but all of a sudden, as the perection is that its gone from a cream to a silver background, it's become 'trash?

I like it conceptually with the simple black art work on the silver, without a complete image. But, the concept art definitely is very different from the actual printed one. I still look forward to this film, but I hope in the future perhaps some 'actual' pics are available in advance to allow for us to make an true purchasing decision.

Think I'm the only one that likes the brushed silver effect, hehe. I'm glad it still has that distressed/worn/scratched look around the edges, rather than being completely blank. I'd still would have preferred it like the mock-up but this still looks great to me. I'm expecting the red text to pop like no other.

cant fully judge the steel until someone opens it and shows the back and the inside, also the front without the slip which is covering some of the color
