I was just about to write the same exact thing. Cause even though it doesn't sound like a spoiler it is tbh,

Cause when I sat down and saw it I expected a Gosling movie, but the way it turned out with the 3-part story was a lot better imo! But I was surprised when Gosling's character was killed off. I was like "what the hell are they going to do the next hour and a half.

It was great how it switched between tones but still held together as a whole narrative thread. Some excellent match-shots I seem to remember, and some great camera angles. Mike Patton's score was very doom'n'gloom, but more in a Twin Peaks kind of way than a traditional 'epic' score. Can't wait to see this again actually, one of Gosling's better performances but Bradley Cooper was the star in this for me.

I've cancelled my preorder for this. Can't see it selling out anytime soon and it was going to be a blind buy anyway. Like the artwork and like Gosling but will try and pick one up later down the line hopefully abit cheaper aswell. Trying to keep my preorder list down.

I am still debating to get this... its region b locked and i am thinking is it really worth it if i can not watch it? i can get the regular edition for way less... but damm it is such a nice looking steel book!

Buy the steelbook,wait for the regular edition to drop in price,then stick that disk inside the steelbook

Not confirmed yet but going off past Studiocanal releases it is very likely to be region B locked.
